North Olympic Coast in Winter

Spent three days on the coast during the month of February. It was very wet conditions and even a day of moderate winds; as the tail end of none stop winter storms pushed though that have been hammering the Olympic Peninsula. Captured this image, before the next 48 hour storm moved through the area. Did'nt take out my good camera much after that.

The snow line dropped near sea level elsewhere in most of the northern regions of the state of Washington, but we received nothing but heavy rains and cold temperatures in camp.   Most of the day was spent gathering wood; to keep the beach fire hot enough to stay alive, in these hyperthermic type conditions.
