Summer Update (unplanned): Across

Hearing that one of my friends was making a trip across the ONP in 3 days, I asked to be involved.  Him and a friend already had a route planned for some time.  Thankfully they let me tag along.   Would've missed out on all the trail fun.

Whole lot of sun and warm temperatures in the Olympics.  A little too much for my liking actually.  Prefer traditional Washington State weather.  Snow is melting very fast and mosquitoes are in full effect.  Walking on all that hot rock made for tender feet.

I now resupply to head back in for 10 days alone, before coming back to town for food.  This time crossing the ONP northbound on a separate route, with more alpine.

Constance and Anderson Pass are snow free on both sides.  Everything that I can look up and see in this area was mostly clear.  Happy Alpine!
