Peabody Creek Trail Training

For the sake of time i decided to go 2 laps on a local trail that skims the edge of the ONP boundary. This trail is heavily used by people and pets (even tho pets are not allowed in the park). I would call it like a fish ladder type set up. Where it levels out on small benches and then goes up, then repeats. The bottom half is really muddy with lots of lose leafs. Traction is a huge issue here, so speed is minimal.



Over all training went good. Legs were strong and powered up each hill, even a few switchbacks no problem. Total millage 11.4 and 1,985 accent on my Suunto.




This weekend me and my GF has a big multi day backpacking/Trail Running/Backpacking to cover 52+ miles. Super excited about that....
