Barnes Creek Primitive Trail

It has been awhile it seems that Ive done a Trail Run. We have been taking advantage of the snow in the mountains and doing Snowshoeing,Skiing and various other winter actives. It did feel good to get back on the trail tho.

13.5 miles out and back trail. Trail winded up and up and up following the Barnes Creek system. After about 3.5 miles in. The trail turned into a primitive trail, which was mostly moss, pine needles , mud and some snow. I enjoyed this section the most, because it was easy on the feet to run. The trail slope also meant that you could hold a constant run going in and out of trees.

Over all it was a good training run and i plan on doing the same one again soon.
